The Cisco Catalyst 3650-48PS-E runs Cisco IOS XE, the newer software base shared with more recent Cisco platforms, giving it a longer support runway and access to more current features than the older IOS based 2960 and 3560 switches. With 48 PoE ports, Gigabit Ethernet and full Layer 3 managed routing, it works well as either a capable access switch or a distribution switch for a mid sized network. Stacking support lets several 3650 switches be managed together, simplifying operations as a site adds more switches over time. Antofity Concepts supplies the 3650-48PS-E for organisations in Kenya that want a modern, fully managed Layer 3 switch with strong long term software support.
